In our country we tend to avoid looking at the problem in the face. Instead we assume that the problem does not exist. This has hit our sensitiveness very badly. Whatever happens we forget very quickly.
We all know that Education, Defence and Law and Order are ( or should be) priority sectors. What do we see? There is no policy at all!! What exactly do we try to achieve through education? To be capable to earn a living? Every living being earns its daily food. Are we different from that? One might say that we also try to earn more or better living. Well every animal tries that isn't it? The point is we say that we are more evolved than animals. How do we prove it? Shouldn't there be a specific direction to the education apart from earning a living? What should we teach our future generation?
I think first and foremost love and pride for the nation, good citizenship, contentedness, virtues etc. It is more important to be virtuous than to have a fat bank balance. It is so grievous to see that a corrupt but rich government employee gets more respect than a school teacher.
Similarly, a bank babu earns more than a police officer. Imagine the duty hours of police and the risks involved to life. Shouldn't he earn better than a clerk in the office?
What about our military? What is the state of our armymen? How pathetic are the conditions in which they have to work. So? do we give them their dues?
Think before it is not too late or India is going down to apoint of no return!!
